Mathway is an app you can download on your phone to help you with any type of math. With in the app you can pick what type of math you are trying to solve from quadratics, log rhythms, to statics and many more. It can solve your problems within seconds instead of taking 10 mins to solve the problem long hand by yourself. When using the app to solve a problem you can either type it or take a picture of it which is very helpful if it’s a long problem. It works like a text message you send in the problem and seconds later they reply with the answer. If you pay for the subscription, they will let you see the problem done step by step so its not just a shortcut to get your work done you can actually take something away from it if your struggling. It is a very useful tool to use for any grade for completing your homework, I do not recommend using it on a test though because that is cheating.

Somethings I did find that I did not like is sometimes when you take a picture of the problem they can’t read it, and when it’s a long problem of equations it sucks because you may have to do it by yourself. Also, when typing in the equation it can be tedious because you have to switch back and forth between keyboards to get the right sings and symbols.

Overall it a great app to use if you are struggling with your class because the teacher or professor isn’t always there to help. With being able to see the step process is help and makes the app more of a learning type then a shortcut and has helped me many times is class.
